Configuring an FTP Account in Bluehost

  1. Login to Bluehost
  2. Click Advanced from the left panel
  3. Click FTP Accounts
  4. Enter your information
    • Login: ******
    • Password: ***************
    • Store under Passwork > Website Design Services > FTP Access > “[Customer Name] – Bluehost Admin FTP”
      • Don’t forget to store this in the password manager!
  5. Remove everything from the Directory 
    • This gives the admin FTP user access to everything on the bluehost account.
  1. Because this is the admin account, you can leave the quote to unlimited. 
  2. Click Create FTP Account.
