What is Adobe XD to Tulsa Website Design?

Adobe XD is a user experience tool specifically built for web development. There are other applications out there similar to Adobe XD, but none as simplistic to use. Adobe creative cloud is known for its graphic design software. Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop have been around for years and are staples in many marketing firms. This software allows us to edit and update photos and vector images. They’re integral in creating amazing Tulsa based website designs because without images your content looks pretty bland.

Photoshop (Raster)

Photoshop handles all rasterized images. These are pixel based images. Think about JPEG or PNG files. These images when stretched really large become pixelated and hard to understand. That’s because you’re handling rasterized images.

Illustrator (Vector)

illustrator handles all vector images. Maybe you remember back from math class we learned about vectors. A vector is a line that means something just by its direction and length. The difference between rasterize and vector images is scalability. With Photoshop or images taken from your camera, when you make an extremely large film it gets pixelated. Vector images on the other hand don’t. But how? Vector uses math based formulas to draw the image. Generally this means that the images have to be composed of simpler shapes, but it also means they can scale to any size. Think about your logos. Your company logo would not be very useful if you could only keep it at one specific size. This is where vector images come in extremely handy.

So what is Adobe XD? (Raster & Vector)

again so  the question remains what is Adobe XD? Now that we know what vector and raster images are let’s look at how Adobe XD combines them. Adobe XD stands for Adobe user experience. This is basically an application for building prototypes. You can build a website prototype, mobile phone application prototype and so much more. It has some basic shape creating abilities, but at the end of the day it relies on Photoshop and illustrator to create the artwork that goes into it.
