What is a unique value proposition? Unique value proposition also sometimes called a unique selling proposition or a unique selling point is a statement of how your company provides for the needs of your clients better than your competition. In other words it’s telling potential buyers how you’re different from your competition. Maybe your competition offers A, B and C and your company offers just A at a very good price.  this will make more sense as we get into some of the examples for today’s post.

The first company that I will look at is a relatively new company named Uber. I’m sure by now you’ve heard of the company called Newburgh. Doordash

Doordash is a company that offers delivery services to consumers at home. It used to be that you could only order food from your home if that restaurant offered delivery services. Nowadays with the advent of Doordash you can order food  from anywhere at any time and have it delivered to your help this is their unique value proposition. Before this time, no one had thought of this idea. Uber did something similar with cars, but no one had thought of doing a delivery service in such a manner. Their unique value proposition is “get food from anywhere at any time”.
